¿Por qué tapan? ¿A ustedes los medios solo les interesa contar los casos cuando son colegios públicos?, Nos borran los comentarios que colocamos en un grupo de Wiki de mujeres porque quieren tapar lo sucedido, ¿Cuándo se tomará en serio el tema del matoneo?, Los papás creen que nosotros los profesores, debemos formar a sus hijos, cuando en casa comienza el proceso de formación. Son las palabras que en los días recientes hemos recibido en nuestra redacción de BC Noticias, quien conoció el caso más reciente de matoneo en uno de los colegios más prestantes de la región… El Granadino.
Desde el pasado viernes el acceso a la información ha sido limitado, teniendo en cuenta que es una institución privada y que tiene como plus, que estudian los hijos de las personas más influyentes de Manizales, y quizás temen que su buen nombre se vea afectado, lo cual es comprensible, pero hay algo que como sociedad, debemos entender, los problemas se enfrentan, se asumen responsabilidades y construimos puentes para enfrentar un problemática que afecta a colegios públicos y privados, y que el matoneo no es solo de estratos bajos o medios, sino un fenómeno que afecta a todas las clases sociales.
De acuerdo con las primeras informaciones, los hechos ocurrieron el pasado 28 de abril, cuando un menor entre los 10 y 12 años terminó en un quirófano, luego de ser victima de un juego de niños, que terminó en tragedia.
¿Cómo pasó?
Desde el pasado fin de semana en un grupo de Wikis de mujeres, el cual es grupo selecto de Facebook destinado para un fin determinado, se empezó a hablar de la situación y lo que prendió las alarmas de las integrantes, fue que comenzaron a borrar las publicaciones, al punto que al día de hoy todavía hay cruces de palabras entre las integrantes, porque no se deben ocultar la problemáticas, sino que se deben abordar y enfrentar.
“A todas las wikies, les quiero contar lo que paso esta semana en un colegio “MUY RECONOCIDO” de la ciudad de Manizales. Un niño de este colegio había estado siendo víctima de bullying por parte de algunos de sus “compañeros”, sin embargo, esta semana, en plena jornada escolar el tema pasó a ser de mayor gravedad. El niño fue invitado a jugar, dicho juego consistía en tirar una pelota al aire, saltar a cogerla y caer en cunclillas/sentados. Todos los “compañeros” tuvieron su momento, pero cuando le llegó el turno al niño que había estado sufriendo de bullying, tristemente no lo recibió el piso, sino una varilla que uno de los “compañeros” clavo en el suelo, segundos antes del salto con la finalidad de hacerle “UNA BROMA”, señala uno de los mensajes de las personas que relató el hecho.
La publicación ha trascendido al punto que muchos se han “tirado la pelota” porque no es responsabilidad o jurisdicción de ellos, pero BC Noticias conoció que si se activaron los protocolos para atender este hecho, al punto que este martes 3 de mayo sesionó en el Colegio Granadino, el Comité de Convivencia Departamental con la presencia de la comisaría de Familia, ICBF y Alcaldía de Villamaría, teniendo en cuenta que este colegio está en jurisdicción del vecino municipio.
“Se está recopilando información y evidencias del caso, las rutas que activó el colegio y demás instituciones para iniciar la investigación, todo es un proceso, hay que esperar que arroja la investigación”, señaló una fuente a BC Noticias.
Como medio de comunicación contactamos a la madre del menor afectado, pero nos informó que iban a validar si saldrían a medios de comunicación, hecho que respetamos y solo deseamos una pronta recuperación al menor afectado tanto físicamente como psicológicamente.
Carta de Padres de familia al Colegio
El pasado 2 de mayo un grupo de padres de familia enviaron una carta a la directora general y miembros de la junta directiva del Colegio Granadino donde manifestaron:
“Preocupados por la grave situación a la que nos enfrentamos, como padres de familia y directos afectados de los hechos ocurridos el día 28 de abril en las instalaciones del colegio y que se enmarcan dentro del fenómeno de acoso escolar, nos dirigimos a ustedes con el objetivo de manifestar nuestra posición frente a los hechos y solicitar acciones inmediatas en aras del respeto al debido proceso y la protección de los derechos de los menores involucrados.
Como padres, sentimos una gran tristeza e impotencia frente a esta situación, que es el resultado de un fenómeno que ha sido precedido por acciones similares que fueron denunciadas a esta institución por varios alumnos y padres de familia del grado séptimo.
El acoso escolar, comúnmente conocido como bullying al interior de este grupo en específico, ha venido siendo sistemático, ha ido escalando en gravedad hasta llegar a un hecho que se configura como una violación directa a la integridad física y psicológica de un menor de 14 años”

¿SI ESTAMOS HACIENDO LA DIFERENCIA?
¿QUÉ QUEREMOS TRANSMITIR CON EL TAN SONADO LEMA “MAKING THE DIFFERENCE” …?
Los últimos acontecimientos tan dolorosos ocurridos en el colegio en días pasados me tienen muy cuestionada, me han puesto a pensar qué estoy haciendo como mujer y como madre responsable de la crianza de mis hijos que espero que sean parte constructiva de la sociedad. Los eventos, no solo el último y doloroso episodio de la semana pasada, varios, sumados a muchos otros incidentes que se han presentado desde hace algún tiempo me han puesto a pensar qué estamos haciendo para evitar que sigan pasando, para evitar que algunos niños y niñas sigan siendo agredidos emocional y físicamente en el colegio y que pone en franca duda si a nuestros hijos los estamos enviando a un lugar seguro.
Me pregunto qué estamos haciendo como comunidad y si los procedimientos, claramente necesarios…, los “correctivos” e intervenciones, convenientes también…, las conversaciones, indispensables todas…, ¿han sido y seguirán siendo suficientes? Me sigo preguntando y llego a la misma respuesta, y esta es NO.
No estamos alcanzando, creo, uno de los objetivos principales que es formar personas empáticas y que actúen desde el amor, no estamos logrando educar a seres humanos íntegros que sean compasivos y que sepan ser miembros respetuosos de una colectividad, porque sí, aunque esto le corresponde a cada familia en su núcleo, también es responsabilidad del colegio complementar dicha formación. Nos estamos desviando del camino si se nos están yendo de las manos familias y niños tristes, algunas veces ignorados e incomprendidos, por haberse “atrevido” a ser ellos, por ser diferentes, por ser diversos y únicos.
Esta declaración la dejo acá plasmada, para primero perdonarme a mí misma por no haber actuado antes y para disculparme de todo corazón con las familias y niños que han sufrido con y en el colegio, para decirles que lamento profundamente haber sido una observadora de su dolor, el cual, aunque no me fue indiferente, tampoco me movilizó en su debido momento. Plasmo acá mi intención de sumarme a las otras expresiones y propuestas que han surgido de grupos y de familias preocupadas, las cuales sé que quieren construir y que hacen evidente que tienen el firme propósito de participar activamente en la solución de los graves problemas que nos aquejan y que nos incumben a todos.
Y por último dejo acá mi invitación al colegio y a sus directivas para trabajar de la mano de todas las personas que queremos y esperamos que las cosas mejoren, para hacer acuerdos, para abrir sus puertas, así como sus mentes y corazones, para hablar de frente de los evidentes dolores que afligen a nuestra comunidad y para entender que de las crisis nacen las oportunidades, porque señoras y señores, así como vamos les quiero decir que NO, NO ESTAMOS HACIENDO LA DIFERENCIA.

Entre tanto sobre el mediodía de este martes 3 de mayo se realizó un plantón y un acto simbólico para rechazar este hecho y cualquier forma de violencia o acoso escolar. Los padres fueron vestidos de blanco e hicieron un mural.
Respuesta colegio.
Este martes 3 de mayo el Colegio Granadino se refirió por primera vez y de forma pública, el cual lo denominó como “incidente”
«El incidente que se presentó en las instalaciones del colegio en días pasados es en este momento materia de investigación. a institución ha activado las rutas de atención establecidas para estos casos. Contamos con el acompañamiento y asesoría de las entidades competentes para garantizar la protección de los derechos de los niños, niñas y adolescentes a nuestro cargo. a institución no está autorizada para brindar más información de la que ha sido compartida con la comunidad del Colegio al tratarse de menores de edad, en aras de no vulnerar sus derechos, y conforme a la ley.
Hacemos un llamado a la mesura y a la prudencia frente al manejo mediático,pues las publicaciones que están circulando en redes sociales y medios de comunicación, en algunos casos no guardan relación con la realidad y transgreden la privacidad y derechos de los menores. Ratificamos nuestro compromiso con los niños, las familias y la construcción de comunidad»», señala el comunicado de prensa del Colegio Granadino.
En BC Noticias hicimos una consulta sobre si la ciudadanía conocía la ruta de atención en caso tal de que sus hijos sufrieran de matoneo, y en un 98% de los ciudadanos que opinaron, dijeron NO, hecho que invita a las autoridades, secretarías de Educación, Colegios, Padres de Familia y medios de comunicación a incentivar y fortalecer los canales y medios adecuados para afrontar este problema.
Lo que queda claro es que el fenómeno del matoneo está afectando a nuestros niños y ha sido un fenómeno latente a lo largo de los años, pero por la potencia de las redes sociales, hoy los retos y el acceso a vídeos o casos reales, demuestran que como sociedad se debe enfrentar y más cuando tenemos casos recientes de dolor que afectaron recientemente a dos colegios públicos de Manizales (Uno de la zona urbana y otro de la rural).
UNICEF y acoso escolar
Según la Unicef, el acoso escolar es una conducta de persecución física y psicológica que realiza un estudiante contra otro de forma negativa, continua y con intencionalidad, que causa daño, temor, tristeza, entre otros en la víctima. De acuerdo con un informe de la ONG Internacional Bullying Sin Fronteras, realizado entre enero de 2020 y diciembre de 2021, Colombia es uno de los países con más casos de acoso y matoneo a nivel mundial, con 8.981. La concentración de esta problemática se presenta en las siguientes ciudades: Bogotá 21%, Medellín 13%, Barranquilla 12% y Cartagena 10%.
“Lo primero que debemos tener en cuenta las familias y educadores es que para que una situación sea catalogada como acoso escolar debe cumplir con tres características: por un lado debe evidenciarse que hay un daño intencional (físico, psicológico, social, entre otros); la acción debe ser repetitiva y por último debe existir una diferencia de poder entre “acosador” y “víctima”, comenta Laura López Portela, directora del programa Licenciatura en Educación Infantil de la Universidad El Bosque.
Según la investigación “Parceros”: un programa para la prevención e intervención del acoso escolar en Colombia, diferentes estudios señalan que la participación en matoneo está asociada al déficit en habilidades sociales, las cuales posibilitan un desarrollo satisfactorio en un contexto intra e interpersonal; se sugiere que los agresores presentan bajos niveles en empatía afectiva, autocontrol, toma de perspectiva, remordimiento y compasión.
Pero en Colombia ya existe una ley con la cual se busca controlar el matoneo escolar. Se trata de la Ley 1620 de 2013 por medio del cual se crea el “Sistema Nacional de Convivencia Escolar y Formación para los Derechos Humanos, la Educación para la Sexualidad y la Prevención y Mitigación de la Violencia Escolar”.
De acuerdo con la doctora Viedma de Fidare en una entrevista con Semana señaló que “esta nueva norma permite que casos como burlas, ataques, golpes, chantajes, presiones, no queden en el anonimato y sean debidamente atendidos y castigados. Desde la activación de esta el estudiante podrá acudir a los comités de convivencia que se deberán crear en las instituciones educativas a fin de exponer su caso donde se impulsarán todos los protocolos para procesar el asunto”.
El gran reto
Como sociedad debemos unirnos para frenar esta problemática, que aunque ha estado presente a lo largo de nuestras vidas, debemos sembrar semillas de cambio, las organizaciones privadas o públicas, no deben ocultar el problema, sino afrontarlo y asumir propuestas de cambio, y mucho menos culpar a medios de comunicación, cuando simplemente algunos buscamos información para contar los hechos.
También como sociedad manizaleña se debe vencer esa idiosincrasia que en otras regiones del país llaman «apariencia», y aparentar lo que no tienes. Además, el caso de matoneo que hoy toca un colegio privado, debe ser asumido como lo hacen los colegios públicos y no pensar que como dice la canción «No se habla de Bruno, No, No»
Pronunciamiento Policía Metropolitana de Manizales
La Policía Metropolitana de Manizales se refirió ante este hecho mediante un comunicado de prensa:
1. El día 29 de abril de 2022 el Grupo de Protección a la Infancia y Adolescencia, recibió información vía telefónica respecto a un caso acontecido el día 28 del mismo mes, donde un menor de edad resultó lesionado al interior de una institución educativa del municipio de Villamaría.
2. Frente a los hechos, se da conocer lo sucedido al Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar para verificación y restablecimiento de derechos de los niños.
3. Se realizó reunión con los directivos del colegio, donde solicitaron actividades preventivas a estudiantes, docentes y padres de familia con el programa “Abre tus ojos” del grupo de protección a la infancia y adolescencia.
4. La unidad básica de investigación criminal de infancia y adolescencia se acoge a lo estipulado en la Ley 1098 Código de Infancia y la Adolescencia el cual en su artículo 142 a la letra dice: “Sin perjuicio de la responsabilidad civil de los padres o representantes legales, así como la responsabilidad penal consagrada en el numeral 2 del artículo 25 del Código Penal, las personas menores de catorce (14) años, no serán juzgadas ni declaradas responsables penalmente, privadas de libertad, bajo denuncia o sindicación de haber cometido una conducta punible. La persona menor de catorce (14) años deberá ser entregada inmediatamente por la policía de infancia y adolescencia ante la autoridad competente para la verificación de la garantía de sus derechos de acuerdo con lo establecido en esta ley”.
5. Los padres son los primeros responsables de la educación y crianza de sus hijos, los cuales se amparan en la formación académica en los diferentes niveles, de tal manera que más adelante, este proceso sea productivo y permita instaurar lineamientos éticos y pedagógicos para su vida adulta, por este motivo es importante que la comunidad en general tenga en cuenta las siguientes recomendaciones para la formación y cuidado de los niños niñas y adolescentes.
· Control en las redes sociales
· Generar hábitos para una comunicación fluida con los niños, niñas y adolescentes para determinar si están siendo víctima de Bullyng.
Reforzar valores en cuanto respeto y tolerancia.
· Tener presente pautas de Crianza.
· Temprana identificación de factores de riesgo donde se afecte la integridad o se vulnere su formación.
6. Durante el año 2022 el Grupo de Infancia y Adolescencia de la Policía Metropolitana de Manizales ha realizado 530 acciones preventivas en 38 planteles educativos de Manizales y Villamaria, donde se han impactado más de 10.500 estudiantes con mensajes alusivos a la prevención de violencia escolar.
7. La Policía Metropolitana de Manizales hace un llamado a las instituciones educativas, para que ante los hechos que involucren niños, niñas y adolescentes lesionados al interior de las mismas, informen de manera inmediata a la Policía de Infancia y Adolescencia a través de la línea de emergencia 123.
Seguiremos trabajando bajo el lema “YO NO PELEO, YO CONVERSO”, invitando a la comunidad a utilizar el diálogo como el mejor mecanismo para solucionar las diferencias.
Postura de Min Educación
En la tarde de este miércoles 4 de mayo el Ministerio de Educación también reaccionó ante hecho que causa preocupación en Caldas y lo hizo mediante su cuenta de Twitter:
«Rechazamos con contundencia toda acción violenta en contra de los niños, niñas y jóvenes. Desde @MinEducacion expedimos Directiva 1 con orientaciones para los Comités de Convivencia Escolar para prevenir violencias en entornos escolares», señaló Maria Victoria Ángulo, Ministra de Educación.
